Country Crest Beef – As Selected by Neven Maguire…

Country Crest Beef comes from cattle who are grass fed and reared on our family farm, not far from the Farm Shop. The farm team are passionate about raising our cattle to the highest possible animal welfare standards. (Our grandfather always said, “Quality rearing ensures great taste.”)

During the winter, and close to ‘finishing’, we feed our cattle with a healthy mix of silage, potatoes and grains, all grown on our farm. This ensures we get fully traceable beef that’s consistent in quality and taste.

All our beef is Bord Bia assured, and is aged and prepared with great care and skill by our master butchers.

It’s a real honour that Ireland’s much loved chef, Neven Maguire, uses our beef exclusively in his renowned MacNean House and Restaurant.
